Second day of Sea Base - still getting there

Spent a good night in the First Church of the Nazarene in Manchester, TN.
The boys got to play volleyball and watch The Office on the Mac Mini and large television the church had.
The building was a bit warm for sleeping, so we opened the windows as the A/C controls were behind lock and key.
Also, there is something under the floor in the room where we we sleeping, that would kick on every 15 minutes and rumble and rattle like a broken down old car. Made the sleeping a bit hard for Dean. Everyone else seemed to put it out of mind.

We all packed up, cleaned up and rolled out of the parking lot EARLY!  For the second day in a row.

We are going to drive for awhile before stopping for breakfast. Until then we have an ample supply of snacks. Ryan says we have Cheese-it's and fruit snacks for breakfast. Hmmm.  Personally, I'm gonna wait till we pull into a regional choke and puke. ( Deans analogy, not mine). :-)

W choose to skip stopping by the Jack Daniels distillery which was just up the road. Save it for next time.

Thanks to Jeanne Blades for hooking us up with the overnight accommodations.  Your very appreciated.

Into Chatanooga we go with Orlando in our sights. Gonna be a 10 hour drive today.

Sea Base

Fixing the Van!!!!!
Fighting over wifi bandwidth.
Left Olathe early.

Everyone met a the church this morning and were outta there a little early!  New troop record!

Smooth driving though Missouri on I-70. Hit some good rain in St. Louis which was also our first pit stop.

Driving through Illinois has been good. Stopped off in Benton Il to have the power outlets looked at by the Chevy dealer as they were not powering anything in the van.   This is the " Fixing the van" news

There is a wifi connection here at the dealership. Logan keeps kicking other less tech savvy boys off of the network. He's smart!

Arrived in Manchester TN, ate dinner at Jiffy Burger (which is awesome). Staying the night at the church.

Day one done!
